  • Enhancing Connections to Remote Zimbabwe

    Improving connectivity

Improving accessibility, family ties, community and economic activity to remote locations across Zimbabwe.

Our Goal

The goal of ZW Essential Air Service, a fundraising non-profit organisation is to improve air travel in Zimbabwe. We want to support routes through cheaper fares and safe, stable route development to some of the country's smaller, under-served towns through Public Service Obligation (PSO) flights. Our hope is to provide the people and visitors of Zimbabwe with simple and practical access between areas that could otherwise take days to traverse.

Good air links support Zimbabwe's economy. They keep remote communities connected. Remote settlements rely on aircraft for essential services including mail, groceries, medication and medical care, tools and equipment, and emergency transport.

Our Approach

We aim to improve air travel in Zimbabwe through subsidising airlines to provide services between smaller, under-served towns and larger city hub airports through Public Service Obligation (PSO) flights.
